Fertig.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Tipps f\u00fcr die (nahezu) perfekte \u201eGunfire\u201c-Erfahrung:<\/h4>\n<p>Okay, wenn du jetzt schon noch hier bist, gehen wir mal ein bisschen ins Detail. &#8222;Gunfire&#8220; ist vielleicht nicht der eleganteste Cocktail, aber er hat Charme &#8211; und vor allem Geschichte. Und wie immer steckt der Teufel im Detail, auch bei so einfachen Rezepten.<\/p>\n<h5>Wahl des Tees:<\/h5>\n<p>Die Basis ist schwarzer Tee, und optimalerweise verwenden wir einen kr\u00e4ftigen, herben Schwarztee, wie einen Assam oder einen English Breakfast Tea. Der Tee sollte richtig stark aufgebr\u00fcht werden, um der Sch\u00e4rfe des Alkohols standzuhalten. Wenn du den Tee zu schwach machst, wird es schnell wie ein trauriger, lauwarmer Rumschluck mit einem Hauch von Farbe \u2013 nicht ideal.<\/p>\n<h5>Der Alkohol:<\/h5>\n<p>Bei \u201eGunfire\u201c hast du die Wahl zwischen Rum und Whisky. Traditionell wurde oft Rum verwendet, aber Whisky bringt eine interessante herbe Note hinzu. Achte darauf, keinen zu edlen Tropfen zu verwenden \u2013 das ist ein rustikales Getr\u00e4nk, also lass den 18-j\u00e4hrigen Single Malt lieber im Regal stehen. G\u00fcnstiger Rum oder Whisky reicht hier v\u00f6llig aus und tr\u00e4gt zur Authentizit\u00e4t bei.<\/p>\n<h5>S\u00fc\u00dfen oder nicht?<\/h5>\n<p>Traditionell: keine S\u00fc\u00dfe. Das ist besonders wichtig, wenn du das Getr\u00e4nk in seiner originalen Funktion einsetzen willst (sp\u00e4ter mehr dazu). Kalter \u201eGunfire\u201c verliert den gesamten \u201eSinn\u201c dieses Getr\u00e4nks.<\/p>\n<h4>Herkunft und Geschichte des Cocktails Gunfire:<\/h4>\n<p>Jetzt wird\u2019s historisch. Kleine Anekdote: Man sagt, \u201eGunfire\u201c sei ein Drink mit milit\u00e4rischen Wurzeln, und das ergibt wirklich Sinn. Die britische Armee hat sp\u00e4testens im 19. Jahrhundert damit begonnen, ihren Soldaten am Morgen vor einem Gefecht oder einer gro\u00dfen \u00dcbung einen Schluck Tee mit einem ordentlichen Schuss Rum zu servieren. Der Zweck? Nun ja, ein gewisser \u201eMut\u201c im Kalten. Man ben\u00f6tigte blo\u00df das Standard-Kit: Tee, Alkohol und ein Feuer, um den Tee hei\u00df zu halten \u2013 und schon war man vorbereitet, auf was auch immer: Schlachten, Man\u00f6ver oder den B\u00fcroalltag.<\/p>\n<h4>Verwandte Cocktails:<\/h4>\n<p>In der weiten Welt der \u201eTruppen-Cocktails\u201c k\u00f6nnte man den \u201eGunfire\u201c vielleicht mit dem \u201eTotty\u201c oder \u201eHot Toddy\u201c vergleichen, einem hei\u00dfen Mix aus Alkohol, Wasser, Honig und oftmals einer Zimtstange, der auch als Lebenselixier gegen die Unbillen des Winters diente. Ein direkter Verwandter ist der sogenannte \u201eRum Toddy\u201c, bei dem hei\u00dfes Wasser verwendet wird statt Tee.
