Cocktail Vampiro – Kurze Anleitung<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der Cocktail „Vampiro“ wird direkt im Glas zubereitet und besteht grob aus Tequila, Tomatensaft, Orangensaft, Limettensaft, Grenadine, und etwas Salz und Pfeffer (oder scharfer So\u00dfe, je nach Geschmack). Alles zusammen in einem Highball-Glas mit Eisw\u00fcrfeln gut mischen und gerne mit einer Limettenscheibe oder Chilirand verzieren. Fertig. Kurz und schmerzlos!<\/p>\n

Detaillierte Tipps zur Zubereitung<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jetzt mal etwas ausf\u00fchrlicher. Ein Vampiro hat etwas von einer mexikanischen Blutorange… okay, blo\u00df ein wenig sch\u00e4rfer! Der Drink steht geschmacklich irgendwo zwischen Margarita und Bloody Mary, nur eben lokaler \u2013 richtig, aus Mexiko. Was ihn zu einem komplexeren Cocktail macht, sind besonders die kleineren Details, die Leute oft vernachl\u00e4ssigen. Ich habe mir da mal einige Gedanken gemacht.<\/p>\n

  1. Der Tequila macht den Unterschied:<\/strong>
    \nSetz hier auf einen wei\u00dfen Tequila (Blanco). Kenner greifen gerne zu einem hochwertigen 100% Agave-Tequila. Glaub mir, die Qualit\u00e4t des Tequilas entscheidet ma\u00dfgeblich \u00fcber den Charakter des Drinks. Tequila mixt man nicht nur irgendwo rein \u2013 er gibt den Ton an.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  2. Grenadine als Gegenpol zur S\u00e4ure:<\/strong>
    \nGrenadine ist s\u00fc\u00df, ja, aber sie spielt hier die ‚Heat Rebound‘-Rolle, eines der magischen Elemente dieses Drinks. Sie gleicht die S\u00e4ure des Tomaten- und Limettensafts aus. Dosier sie aber weise, es soll ja kein Fruchtsirupfest werden.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Die Sch\u00e4rfe und W\u00fcrze? Unverhandelbar.<\/strong>
    \nSalz am Rand des Glases gibt ja schon die Margarita-Vibes, das kennen wir. Der Clou ist die Sch\u00e4rfe \u2013 verwende bestenfalls Piquin-Chili oder Tabasco statt klassischem Pfeffer. Manchmal wird Tabasco durch andere scharfe Saucen ersetzt, aber es sollte nicht zu dominant sein. Wenn du es subtiler magst, kannst du ein leichtes Ananas-Topping beif\u00fcgen \u2013 klingt verr\u00fcckt, schmeckt fantastisch!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Tomatensaft \u2013 Kein Vorratsschranktomatenwasser!<\/strong>
    \nDer Tomatensaft im Vampiro ist nicht einfach irgendein Saft aus einem beliebigen Tetra Pak. Wenn du den Drink so richtig aufs n\u00e4chste Level bringen m\u00f6chtest, nimm frisch gepressten Tomatensaft oder zumindest eine gute Marke, denn wie der Tequila tr\u00e4gt auch der Tomatensaft hier ordentlich bei. Industrieller Saft macht alles pl\u00f6tzlich langweilig.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Das Glas und die Deko<\/strong>
    \nEin Highball-Glas ist die Standardwahl, aber probier es mal mit einem breiten Tumbler, wenn du wirklich heldenhaft Glasvolumen willst. Zum Dekor: eine Limettenscheibe ist klassisch, aber probier doch auch mal eine eingeritzte Peperoni oder Chilischote als Eyecatcher neben deinem Salzrand.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Herkunft und verwandte Cocktails<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Jetzt noch ein bisschen Hintergrund, weil wir hier schlie\u00dflich keine schnelle Jugendherbergs-K\u00fcche betreiben. Der Vampiro entstammt \u2013 wie so vieles mit Tequila \u2013 aus der mexikanischen Region. Die Geschichte geht zur\u00fcck auf die 1920er oder 30er Jahre, als in Mexiko ein Bedarf an k\u00fchlen, erfrischenden Cocktails aufkam, um die hei\u00dfe Sp\u00e4tsommersonne in Schach zu halten. Und was k\u00f6nnte sinnvoller sein als Zutaten wie Limettensaft, Tomatensaft und die immer greifbare Flasche Tequila miteinander zu kombinieren? Es wird berichtet, dass der Cocktail in den mexikanischen Stadien getrunken wurde, wo er als lebhafter und leichter Durstl\u00f6scher beliebt war.<\/p>\n

    Interessanterweise k\u00f6nnte man sagen, dass der Vampiro die exotischere, etwas bissigere Schwester der Bloody Mary ist. Beide sind \u201eSavory Cocktails,\u201c mit eher w\u00fcrzigen als fruchtigen Komponenten.
