        \nEin \u201eLondon Dry Gin\u201c passt hier am besten, aber achte darauf, dass er nicht zu dominant ist. Marken wie Beefeater oder Tanqueray sind eine sichere Wahl. Zu florale Gins k\u00f6nnen den feinen Charakter des Cocktails \u00fcberlagern, worauf es hier wirklich nicht ankommt.<\/p>\n

        2. Vermouth vs. Gin – das richtige Verh\u00e4ltnis:<\/strong>
        \nDer Kensington Court Special will eine subtile Balance zwischen dem Gin und dem Vermouth finden.         Der Name \u201eKensington Court Special\u201c l\u00e4sst sofort an das gehobene London denken \u2013 m\u00f6glicherweise eine Anspielung auf den edlen Bereich beim Kensington Palace<\/em>, wo die Royals zu Hause sind. Obwohl wir heute Zeiten von \u201eGin-Trinkenden Millennials\u201c erleben, ist dieser Cocktail eher ein Kind der goldenen \u00c4ra des Cocktails: der 1920er bis 1930er. Vermutlich entstand er, ebenso wie viele andere zeitlose Kreationen, in den Bars des gehobenen Gro\u00dfbritanniens oder vielleicht in den mond\u00e4nen Gentlemen\u2019s Clubs jener Zeit. Genau nachverfolgen l\u00e4sst sich sein Ursprung jedoch nicht.<\/p>\n

        Er steht in direkter Verwandtschaft mit einigen anderen Klassikern \u2013 am ehesten wirst du beim Martini<\/strong> oder White Lady<\/strong> Parallelen feststellen. Der Kensington Court Special ist weniger trocken als ein Martini und mit der Grenadine wird dieser Hauch von S\u00fc\u00dfe subtil ins Spiel gebracht. Tats\u00e4chlich wirkt er dadurch weicher, ein Drink f\u00fcr den fr\u00fchen Abend, wenn die Sonne gerade untergeht und du eine Auszeit von der Welt suchst.<\/p>\n
