B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine<\/h4>\n<p>Diese traditionelle Kr\u00e4uterlik\u00f6r ist ein weiteres Schl\u00fcsselelement. Falls du ihn nicht kennst: B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine hat eine wunderbar komplexe Mischung aus 27 Kr\u00e4utern und Gew\u00fcrzen. Er bringt einen s\u00fc\u00dfen, fast honigartigen Geschmack mit, der im Kontrast zum Wermut steht. R\u00fchren, nicht sch\u00fctteln<\/h4>\n<p>Ein <em>Chrysanthemum<\/em> sollte samtig und klar sein \u2013 sch\u00fctteln w\u00e4re also eher kontraproduktiv. Alle Zutaten werden mit viel Eis in einem R\u00fchrglas gut vermengt. Warum? Du willst den Cocktail k\u00fchlen, aber nicht verd\u00fcnnen wie verr\u00fcckt. Au\u00dferdem bringt das langsame R\u00fchren die sanften Aromen sch\u00f6n zur Geltung.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Geschichte und Herkunft des Cocktails<\/h3>\n<p>Jetzt, wo du wei\u00dft, <em>wie<\/em> du den <em>Chrysanthemum<\/em> machst, lass uns mal einen Blick darauf werfen, <em>warum<\/em> man ihn \u00fcberhaupt machen sollte. Die Urspr\u00fcnge des <em>Chrysanthemum Cocktails<\/em> liegen ein wenig im Nebel der Geschichte \u2013 passend zu seinem mysteri\u00f6sen Anisduft, oder? Was wir wissen: Er taucht erstmals in <strong>Hugo Ensslin&#8217;s<\/strong> Buch <em>Recipes for Mixed Drinks<\/em> von 1916 auf, einem der letzten bedeutenden Cocktailb\u00fccher vor der Prohibition.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Tatsache allein macht den Cocktail zu einem historischen Zeitzeugen. Man stelle sich vor, Barkeeper in New York oder London hatten sich damals qu\u00e4lend kreative L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze \u00fcberlegt, um die Ravages des entstehenden Alkoholverbots zu \u00fcberstehen. Der Chrysanthemum wurde wahrscheinlich f\u00fcr die eher wohlhabende, anspruchsvolle Kundschaft kreiert, die ein Faible f\u00fcr delikate, kr\u00e4uterlastige Drinks hatte \u2013 ein Cocktail f\u00fcr die, die nach dem Club kommen und statt eines harten Drinks lieber etwas Komplexeres genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Interessanterweise enth\u00e4lt dieser Cocktail keine typischen Basisspirituosen wie Whiskey oder Gin, was ihn von vielen anderen Cocktails seiner Zeit abhebt. Kein Rum, keine Eleganz des Cognacs \u2013 nur Wermut, Lik\u00f6r und ein Hauch Absinth. Das zeigt irgendwie, dass er ziemlich sicher f\u00fcr die \u201eFeinschmecker\u201c unter den Cocktailtrinkern entwickelt wurde.<\/p>\n<h4>Verwandte Cocktails<\/h4>\n<p>Falls du das Kratzen nach einer Alternative sp\u00fcrst \u2013 wie w\u00e4re es mit einem <em>Martinez<\/em>? Auch dieser basiert auf Wermut, ist aber etwas kr\u00e4ftiger und statt B\u00e9n\u00e9dictine wird hier Maraschino eingesetzt. Und wenn du mit Absinth lieb\u00e4ugelst, dann k\u00f6nnte der <em>Corpse Reviver #2<\/em> genau das Richtige f\u00fcr dich sein. Oder \u2013 und ich spreche aus Erfahrung \u2013 du servierst ihn jemandem, der behauptet, er \u201emag keinen Absinth\u201c, und siehst, wie dieser Irrglaube in Echtzeit
