Jahrhunderts: Ernest Hemingway. Ja, der<\/em> Hemingway. Dieser Cocktail stammt aus seiner Feder, und das nicht nur in irgendeinem Roman, sondern tats\u00e4chlich in einem Cocktailbuch aus dem Jahr 1935, das den charmanten Titel So Red the Nose or Breath In The Afternoon<\/em> tr\u00e4gt.<\/p>\n

    Warum Hemingway? Nun, er war bekanntlich nicht nur f\u00fcr seine B\u00fccher, sondern auch f\u00fcr seinen Hang zu starken Drinks ber\u00fcchtigt. „Death in the Afternoon“ entspringt vermutlich Hemingways Vorliebe f\u00fcr Absinth und Champagner \u2013 zwei Getr\u00e4nken, die in Europa, wo er viele Jahre verbrachte, nicht nur beliebt, sondern auch leicht verf\u00fcgbar waren. Der Name selbst ist eine Anspielung auf eines seiner ber\u00fchmten B\u00fccher, Tod am Nachmittag<\/em>, \u00fcber den spanischen Stierkampf, das 1932 ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde.<\/p>\n
