Der Hoppel Poppel ist urspr\u00fcnglich mal kein Cocktail gewesen, sondern eher ein traditionelles Berliner Reste-Essen. Ja, du hast richtig gelesen. In Berlin, besonders nach einer langen durchzechten Nacht, diente urspr\u00fcnglich der \u201eHoppel-Poppel\u201c als deftige Mahlzeit aus Eiern, Kartoffeln, und den \u00fcbrig gebliebenen Wurst- und Fleischresten vom Vortag.<\/p>\n<p>Die \u201eCocktailvariante\u201c davon ist eine homophone Eigenheit, die wohl aus den 1920er oder 1930er Jahren stammt, als amerikanische Bars in Europa immer beliebter wurden.
