Simpel, aber wirkungsvoll.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Detaillierte Tipps:<\/h2>\n<p>Der Stinger geh\u00f6rt mit seinem simplen Aufbau zu den Klassikern, aber wie bei allem im Leben steckt der Teufel im Detail. Ein paar Hinweise, damit dein Stinger wirklich optimal gelingt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cognac<\/strong> ist das Herzst\u00fcck. W\u00e4hle einen wirklich guten Qualit\u00e4tscognac, da diese Spirituose den Gro\u00dfteil des Geschmacks bestimmt. Was &#8222;gut&#8220; genau bedeutet, h\u00e4ngt aber auch von deinen pers\u00f6nlichen Pr\u00e4ferenzen ab. Ein j\u00fcngerer VS oder VSOP kann fruchtig und leicht sein, was in Kombination mit der Minze sehr erfrischend wirkt. \u00c4ltere Cognacs (XO oder \u00e4lter) entwickeln intensivere, subtilere Noten, die den Drink gehaltvoller machen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cr\u00e8me de Menthe<\/strong> gibt es in zwei Varianten: gr\u00fcn (verte) und wei\u00df (blanche). Wenn du etwas mehr Experimentierfreude mitbringst, kannst du auch ein paar Tropfen Angostura-Bitter hinzuf\u00fcgen, um die W\u00fcrzigkeit des Drinks zu betonen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Herkunft und verwandte Cocktails:<\/h2>\n<p>Ah, der Stinger! Ganz ehrlich: W\u00e4hrend vieler Cocktails in den zwielichtigen Bars der Prohibition entstanden, hat der Stinger einen fast aristokratischen Ursprung. Der Drink wurde popul\u00e4r in der High Society New Yorks um 1900, wo er vor allem, wie oben erw\u00e4hnt, als Digestif nach einem Dinner getrunken wurde. Er hat es sogar auf die gro\u00dfe Leinwand geschafft: Cary Grant trinkt ihn in \u201eKramer gegen Kramer\u201c. Man kann also ohne \u00dcbertreibung sagen \u2013 und ohne dabei zu sehr in die IT-Metaphern abzudriften \u2013 dieser Cocktail ist der kleine &#8222;Algorithmus&#8220;, der Hollywood und High Society miteinander verbunden hat.<\/p>\n<p>Interessanterweise war der Stinger urspr\u00fcnglich ein Longdrink, der mit Crushed Ice serviert wurde. Erst im Laufe der Zeit k\u00fcrzte man das Rezept auf die heutige einfachere, puristischere Form. Auch die Wahl des Alkoholtr\u00e4gers schwankte gelegentlich \u2013 je nach Epoche und Modetrend kam Brandy (allgemeiner), Gin oder Cognac zum Einsatz. Letztendlich siegte der Cognac, wahrscheinlich wegen seiner harmonischen Balance im Verh\u00e4ltnis zur Minze.<\/p>\n<p>Verwandte Cocktails mit \u00e4hnlicher &#8222;Logik&#8220; in der Mixologie w\u00e4ren der <strong>Grasshopper<\/strong>, der ebenfalls Cr\u00e8me de Menthe verwendet, allerdings zus\u00e4tzlich Sahne und Cr\u00e8me de Cacao f\u00fcr eine s\u00fc\u00dfe, cremige Variante.
