Kr\u00e4ftig sch\u00fctteln, bis der Shaker kalt wird (ca. 15 Sekunden). In ein gek\u00fchltes Cocktailglas abseihen und, falls gew\u00fcnscht, mit einer Zitronenzeste garnieren.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Tipps und vertiefte Informationen:<\/h3>\n<p>Fangen wir mit dem <strong>Gin<\/strong> an. Nicht jeder Gin ist gleich: ein Dry Gin passt am besten f\u00fcr die White Lady. Der geringe Restzuckergehalt und die h\u00e4ufig komplexe, herbe Botanica des Dry Gin bilden einen optimalen Kontrast zum s\u00fc\u00dflichen Orangenlik\u00f6r. Gins mit starken floralen oder exotischen Noten k\u00f6nnten die Balance dieses Cocktails eher st\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p>Nun zum <strong>Cointreau<\/strong> oder <strong>Triple Sec<\/strong>. Diese beiden sind in der Essenz \u00e4hnlich, wobei Cointreau oft als etwas weicher und ausgewogener gilt. Auch hier gilt: lieber nicht improvisieren mit zu s\u00fc\u00dfen Lik\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der Zitronensaft<\/strong> ist eigentlich der Star hier. Achte darauf, dass du ihn frisch presst \u2013 die Flaschenware schmeckt oft k\u00fcnstlich und l\u00e4sst die S\u00e4ure zu einseitig wirken. Der frische Saft bringt Lebendigkeit und hebt den Drink von mittelm\u00e4\u00dfig auf strahlend.<\/p>\n<p>Zur <strong>Eiwei\u00df-Frage<\/strong>: Es teilt Cocktail-Enthusiasten in zwei Lager. Eiwei\u00df f\u00fcgt dem Drink eine seidige, cremige Textur hinzu und sorgt f\u00fcr eine sch\u00f6ne Schaumkrone. Man k\u00f6nnte es den \u201eTurboboost\u201c in Bezug auf Mundgef\u00fchl nennen \u2013 fast wie bei einem guten Espresso mit Crema. Allerdings ver\u00e4ndert es den urspr\u00fcnglichen Charakter leicht, also: je nach Pr\u00e4ferenz.<\/p>\n<p>Ein kleiner technischer Hinweis zur <strong>Shaketechnik<\/strong>: Wenn du das Eiwei\u00df verwendest, lohnt sich ein sogenannter \u201eDry Shake\u201c vor dem eigentlichen Shake mit Eis. Das hei\u00dft, du sch\u00fcttelst den Drink einmal ohne Eis, damit sich das Eiwei\u00df gut aufschl\u00e4gt, und dann nochmal mit Eis, um den Drink abzuk\u00fchlen. Glaub mir, das bekommt einen richtig sch\u00f6nen Schaum hin \u2013 das ist wie ein Entwickler, der sich f\u00fcr eine kurze Schleife entscheidet, um den ganzen Code funktional aufzupolieren.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Herkunft und Verwandte Cocktails:<\/h3>\n<p>Die White Lady hat ihre Wurzeln in der britischen Cocktailkultur \u2013 man sagt, sie sei zuerst in den sp\u00e4ten 1910er Jahren von Harry MacElhone in Ciro&#8217;s Club, London, gemixt worden. Allerdings war die \u201eurspr\u00fcngliche\u201c White Lady wohl ein v\u00f6llig anderer Cocktail auf Basis von Cr\u00e8me de Menthe (gruseliger Gedanke, oder?). Es war erst in den 1920er Jahren, als Harry dann in seiner Pariser Bar \u201eHarry&#8217;s New York Bar\u201c das Rezept \u00fcberarbeitete und Gin statt der Minze einsetzte. Ein Gl\u00fcck.<\/p>\n<p>Die White Lady huldigt der sogenannten &#8222;Sour&#8220;-Familie von Cocktails, bei denen meist zu einer basischen Spirituose wie Gin oder Whiskey, Zitruss\u00e4fte und S\u00fc\u00dfungen hinzugef\u00fcgt werden. Verwandte Cocktails sind zum Beispiel der <strong>Sidecar<\/strong> (bei dem statt Gin Cognac verwendet wird) oder der weniger bekannte <strong>Pegu Club Cocktail<\/strong>, der zu Gin auch etwas Angostura Bitter hinzuf\u00fcgt.<\/p>\n<p>Ein weiteres Mitglied der erweiterten Familie w\u00e4re der <strong>Corpse Reviver #2<\/strong> \u2013 auch dieser Cocktail ist gin-basiert und verwendet Cointreau sowie Zitronensaft, enth\u00e4lt aber noch Lillet und einen Hauch Absinth.
